Police in Adelaide have charged a man with the murder of a woman who was allegedly attacked on the city’s streets for riding her bike.

The woman was walking her bike along the side of the road when she was approached by a man who pushed her down the side and knocked her to the ground, the Adelaide Coroner’s Court heard.
The man allegedly assaulted the woman with a wooden stick and hit her several times with his bicycle.
He fled the scene.
Detectives are appealing for information from anyone who saw the man, or anyone who witnessed the attack.
A man has also been charged over the death.
The 33-Year Old woman was treated at the scene and later died.
Inspector Shane Bannister said police were trying to establish the man’s identity.
“The investigation is continuing and we will be speaking to anyone who has seen the man in relation to that incident,” he said.
“He is in a long-term community order for assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon.”
He said police would continue to investigate.
